Forty Reported Fatalities in Cozumel Tragedy

The Americas are reeling after the tragedy near Cozumel. While whereabouts of President Barack Obama are unknown, it can be assumed that the bombing of such a beloved vacation spot was not an accident.

Yesterday, the Mexican Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rodolfo Gonzalez, asserted that Mexican intelligence does not have "a clear idea on where the bomb originated from." But assured that "we're in consultation with intelligece agencies from countries in the Pacific Rim."

Mexico, which is known for its friendly foreign relations with most every country, is reporting about forty deaths or injuries.

Lance Jacobson IV, the White House Press Secretary, confirmed that President Obama could not be reached. He stated that "we have no reports that he's been affected, but no reports to the contrary."

Both countries are looking for possible motives for the attack.
